A painting of a young woman wearing a pink western hat earned Chelsea Hackworth the Best of Show honors Thursday at the annual SHHS Art Week assembly.
Hackworth, a senior, said she picked the art from a magazine ad “because people said I looked like the girl in the photo.”
After graduation, Hackworth plans to attend Chemeketa Community College and then the Art Institute of Portland. She plans to study Interior Design.
