Hailey Shea Jones, 11, of Lebanon, died Aug. 6, 2007 at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland.
She was born March 27, 1996 in Corvallis and had lived in Lebanon all her life. She was on the honor roll and played the drums in the band at Sandridge Charter School, where she had just completed the fifth grade.
Hailey loved nature and animals, especially her pets. She was also a red-belt in karate.
She is survived by her parents, Daniel and Janet Jones of Lebanon; grandparents, Ila Beatrice Withrow of Sweet Home, Helen and Lew Smith of Corvallis and Mary and Norris Jones of Lebanon.
Funeral services were held Aug. 10 at the Lebanon First Assembly of God Church, with burial at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Albany. Huston-Jost Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
