Hall, Johnson named top cross-country runners

Nick Hall and Olivia Johnson were named Most Valuable Runners for boys and girls cross-country at the teams’ awards potluck Tuesday, Nov. 16.

Most Improved Runners were Daniel Danforth, Brett King and Jenna Kistner.

Rookies of the year were Nicole Rasmussen and Alec Goetz.

Most Inspirational were Joe Stroud, Johnson and Carissa Swanson.

Swanson was also named the Will to Win awardee, along with Kyle Hummer.

Hummer was the Iron Man winner, given to the runner(s) who do not miss a practice during the season.

Fourth-year letter winners were Johnson, Kistner and Swanson.

Third-year letters went to Caroline Amendola and Hall.

Second-year letter winners were Danforth, Hummer, Paige Sanders, Stroud and Lorenzo Virgen.

First-year letters went to Emily Egbert, Goetz, King, Rasmussen, Erin Rose and Kimber Swanson.
