Hundreds of youngsters lined downtown Sweet Home streets last Tuesday, trick or treating local merchants who opened their shops for two hours of fun. Several merchants dressed in costume and won prizes sponsored by The New Era. First place went to State Farm Insurance, second place to John L. Scott Real Estate and honorable mention to Linn Co Credit Union and Wiley Creek Community.
