Harold Gene Scott, 75, of Lebanon passed away Thursday. He was born in Portland to Harry and Frieda J. (Mostert) Scott.
He served in the United States Air Force. He entered the service in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1962. Harold also received a Good Conduct Medal.
Harold has lived in Sweet Home, Tillamook, Broken Bow, Oklahoma and last in Lebanon.
He worked at the Brownsville Mill as a cone harvester, as a choker setter for Hopkus Logging. He also worked in Tillamook as a cow milker for DeSwarto Dairy and a truck driver for Don Averitt Trucking.
Harold loved collecting coins and supporting the Olympics.
He is survived by children: Cindy and John Stryffeler, Dean and Teri Scott all of Gaston, Danny and Michelle Scott of Tillamook; brother Larry and his wife Trudy of Sweet Home; 11 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren with one on the way.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; brother Louie; sister Shirley; half siblings Dan, Buck and Irene; brother-in-law Larry; sister-in-law Donna; and nephew Carry Joe.
Memorial service will be 1:00 pm Friday, March 1, 2013 at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
