Harry F. Voss, 60, of Sweet Home, died Aug. 4, 2014.
He was born June 1, 1954 in New Orleans, La. to Harry and Margaret (Toner) Voss.
He was raised in Brigantine, N.J. and moved to Oregon in 1993.
Mr. Voss joined the Coast Guard March 6, 1972 and served until April 12, 1974, receiving a National Defense Service Medal.
He worked as an electrician most of his life and was a jack of all trades. He was an avid craftsman, fly tyer, fisherman and an exceptional guitar player and singer.
Mr. Voss is survived by his wife, Sandy Voss of Sweet Home; two sons, Philip Voss and daughter-in-law Candice of Junction City, and David Voss and daughter-in-law Cassie of Pemberton, N.J .; two step-sons, Justin Burros and Bonnie of Indiana, and Robert Eastin and daughter-in-law Julie; brother Dana Voss of Martinez, Ga .; and seven grandchildren.
