The days of Sweet Home High School Leadership students standing in driving rain, sticking letters onto the old reader board, ended last week with the installation of a new digital sign. Principal Keith Winslow said the old sign needed to be replaced because it didn’t have enough space to post everything that administrators and students wanted to, and it was hard to change the messages quickly when events were closely spaced on the calendar. The new sign was paid for with student activities funds that had accrued from those raised annually by the senior classes, he said.
