MEDICS assist a driver at the scene of a two-vehicle crash that blocked HIghway 20 at Riggs Hill Road. Drivers and a passenger complained of minor injuries. No one was transported to the hospital. Linda Massey, 57, was arrested for driving under the influence. Driver Kate Hawken, 16, was westbound on Highway 20 turning left onto Riggs HIll Road in a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta. Massey was eastbound in a 2007 PT Cruiser on Highway 20 when Hawken’s vehicle turned across her path, flipping Hawken’s car onto its side. Hawken’s sister, Torree Hawken, was a passenger in her vehicle. Sweet Home police are continuing an investigation into the crash. They responded to the crash at 4:35 p.m. Thursday.
