MEDICS and firefighters tend to Tami Linn Dugan, 57, at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 228 near Fern Ridge Road. She was cited for failure to drive within lane, police said. The second driver was Bonnie Jeanine Clayton, 52. Both were transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. Oregon State Police and emergency workers responded at 8:56 a.m. on Monday. Dugan, driving east in a 2002 Toyota, told police she swerved into the oncoming lane because she saw a deer that looked like it was going to jump into the road. Clayton was westbound in a 2002 Ford pickup, parked between the two other trucks below the power pole in the photo. She told police she did not see any deer.
