Medical personnel attend to injured motorcyclist Ronald Castleman of Sweet Home near milepost 17 on Highway 228 Monday afternoon, Aug. 14, after a collision between his motorcycle and a car. According to an Oregon State Police report, a Mercury Sabre driven by Dixie Lee Samson, 53, of Sweet Homewas westbound on the highway at about 2:30 p.m. and was slowing to make a turn when it was sideswiped by a Harley Davidson operated by Castleman, 46. He was transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital with injuries, according to the report. Samson was cited for driving uninsured, the report stated.
