Sweet Home Police closed Holley Road between Fern Lane and 1st Avenue for nearly three hours this morning as they investigated a grenade that was placed in front of a driveway across from Fir Lawn Lutheran Church.
Traffic was diverted onto 1st Avenue and Evergreen Lane until the bomb squad arrived and disposed of the potential explosive. See Wednesday’s The New Era for a complete report.
