The annual South Fork Shootout basketball camp raised an estimated $1,800 for the boys and girls basketball teams last week, Monday through Thursday.
The camp is a fund-raising event for the girls and boysbasketball programs at Sweet Home High School.
Twenty-two high school players serve alongside their coaches during the weeklong camp. The camp drew 88 campers in two sessions.
Award winners included the following:
Afternoon, sixth to ninth grade
– Ricky Worley, three-point shootout.
– Leah Villarreal, junior high boy Ryan Graville and high school boy Adam Hummer, slam dunk contest.
– Brendan Canavari and Hillary McCartin, rookies of the year.
– Trevor Shipp and Rylee Cole, campers of the week.
– Jordan Van Cleave, dribble tag champion.
– Adam Matuszak, stance-up champion.
Morning, first through fifth grade
– Megan Graville, stance-up champion.
– Gavin Kauffman, dribble tag champion.
– Brant Gorham, rookie of the year.
– Bear Henry, camper of the week.
– Paul Kim, hot shot champion.
