Hope Tuomi, 40, of Sweet Home died early on May 12, 2007 at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.
She was born Oct. 4, 1966 in Albany to Donald and Doris (Pittman) Ross.
She attended West Albany High School and lived in the mid-valley for most of her life. She married Kenneth Tuomi on May 4, 1996 in Corvallis.
Mrs. Tuomi loved gardening, animals and being outside. She also loved angels.
She attended Resurrection Life Church in Sweet Home.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; children, Rosanna Ross of Tacoma, Wash., Tyler White of Albany, Destinie Ross and Andrew Tuomi of Sweet Home; step-children Sonya, Kevin and Brandi Tuomi of Albany; two grandchildren; mother, Doris Ross of Philomath; brothers, David Ross of Sweet Home, Richard Ross of Salem, Stephen and John Ross of Albany, and Jesse Ross of Corvallis; and sisters Eva Wilkinson of Sweet Home, Karen Russell of Oregon City, Faith Ross of Albany, Ruth Ann Ross of Corvallis, and Deborah Arnold of Garfield, Minn.
Viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at Fisher Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, at Pine Grove Cemetery near Halsey.
