Kurtz went 2-2, losing to two eventual placewinners in the junior women’s competition in both Greco and freestyle, just missing the podium herself. Steve Schilling, Colton Schilling and Patricia Schilling were part of the Oregon women’s team staff. “I am very proud of our kids,” Thorpe said. “They competed hard and represented our state and our community with integrity and class. They are doing those extra things that will make a difference later on.”
