The Huskies defeated La Pine 12-3 on the road on Monday in baseball, Junction City 5-2 on the road Friday after a scoreless game went to the ninth inning and shut out Cottage Grove at home 5-0 on April 24.
The Huskies are 8-3 in league and 10-10 overall. They rank second in league behind Sisters, 10-0, and ahead of Elmira, 6-4. Cottage Grove is 3-7; La Pine, 3-8; and Junction City,1-9.
The Huskies host Elmira Wednesday, travel to Sisters on Friday and Cottage Grove on Tuesday.

Cory Hanks went 5-5 at bat to lead the Huskies as they recorded 19 hits.
The Huskies took a 2-0 lead in the top of the fourth, exchanging runs with La Pine until the seventh inning, when the Huskies scored eight. La Pine scored one more before the end of the game.
At bat, Jeremy White went 2-5 with a run and two RBIs. Christian Voldbaek scored a run. Hunter Bidwell went 3-4 with two runs and three RBIs on two doubles. Justin Rice went 3-5 with two runs and an RBI. Drayson Scott went 1-3 with a run and an RBI. Nate Melcher went 3-3 with two runs and two RBIs. Hanks went 5-5 with two RBIs, a run and a double. Kyle Winslow went 2-4 with two runs, and Colton Holly went 1-4.s
Hanks started the game on the mound, striking out four and giving up a run and two hits with no walks in four innings. White pitched two innings, striking out three and giving up two hits and a run. Scott pitched an inning, giving up a walk, hit and run while striking out one.

Neither team scored for eight innings, but the Huskies knocked in five runs in the ninth, while giving up only two runs in the bottom, to get the win.
Scoring runs in the final inning were Austin Rice, Voldbaek, Bidwell, Melcher and Winslow. White went 2-5 with two RBIs. Bidwell went 101 with an RBI.
Also hitting were A. Rice, 1-3; Justin Rice, 1-5, Drayson Scott, 1-4; and Winslow, 1-4.
Hanks started, pitching four innings, striking out one, giving up three hits and no walks. White pitched four innings, striking out six batters and giving up no hits or walks. Scott pitched the final inning, giving up a walk, hitting one batter and giving up two runs.

The Huskies led off scoring a run against Cottage Grove and added more runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings to shut out Cottage Grove.
At bat, A. Rice went 1-3. White went 1-3 with a run. J. Rice went 1-3 with a run. Scott went 1-3 with a run and an RBI. Winslow went 3-3 with a run, two RBIs and a double.
J. Rice pitched the first six innings, striking out seven batters and walking three. He gave up two hits. Scott closed out the game, striking out one batter and giving up no walks or hits.
