Sean Martin and Jeff Ecker won four events while Nicole Starha and Ann Helfrich picked up three wins each Friday against Marist and North Marion.
“Every girl and boy pulled points for us,” Coach Doug Peargin said. “We had good three and four event wins but really, everyone swam very well overall.”
Coach Peargin said Marist is “always tough and North Marion has a veteran team, so I’m pleased with where we’re at right now.”
Teamwise, returning Huskies are ahead or near where they were at the same time a year ago.
“Our rookies are starting to come into their own,” Coach Peargin said.
The Husky boys took the meet win with 87 points, Marist had 58 and North Marion 20.
For the girls, Marist took the win with 72 points, Sweet Home was second with 56.5 points and North Marion was third with 32.5.
