Huskies score easy win at Sutherlin

Sweet Home’s wrestlers made easy work of Sutherlin Thursday, Jan. 28, downing the Bulldogs 72-12.

“We got a lot of falls,” Coach Steve Thorpe said. “We’re wrestling pretty well.

“We’re in that mode now when we’re focusing on getting kids matches they need, situations they need to be in to win a big match. That’s kind of what we’re working toward, getting those falls, getting those bonus points.”

The Huskies will wrestle a dual at Cottage Grove at 6 p.m., then will compete Saturday, Feb. 6. at the Todd Sermon Duals at West Albany at 9 a.m.
