The Huskies lost the second game 15-11 in a 13-inning marathon.

“We got done somewhere around 1:30 in the morning,” Coach Tow said. “Tyler Emmert and Bryce Beard threw, and both pitched some quality innings.

“Jon Dearborn did a nice job defensively at catcher, and he had an extremely long night catching all 20 innings. He also had two doubles on offense.

“Joe Kisselburgh had two hits as well. There were too many other big plays to list, but we finally ran out of steam in the 13th inning, in the wee hours of the morning. By then, most of the people were ready to go home, I think — I know!”
