Katie Virtue (2014), a sophomore at the Oregon Institute of Technology and Sweet Home High School graduate, finished her softball season second-team all-conference in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
Her team came within a game of the NAIA World Series in the Redding regional competition that started on May 16.
She started as lead-off batter and during the regional competition she was second in the lineup. She hit .335 during the season, fifth on her team.…
