Sisters 1

The Husky baseball team put another game in the bag, 10-running Sisters in the fifth at Sisters.

“We played outstanding baseball today,” Coach Dan Tow said. “Our pitching, defense and offense were all very sharp.

“Matt Matuszak had a huge day at the plate with over half of our RBIs. The grand slam in the second kind of broke it open.

Randy (Wunker) pitched a great game giving up only one hit, and we played great defense behind him. The kids just put together a very complete game, probably the best we’ve played all year.”

At bats, Matuszak went 3-4 with a double, a grand slam, six RBIs and two runs. Josh Marvin went 2-2, adding two runs. Wunker went 2-3 and added two RBIs and two runs. Pat Burke went 1-1 and scored Sisters’ only run.

At the mound, Wunker struck out three batters and walked four. Losing pitcher was Kaleb Kelleher. He was relieved by Burke.
