The Sweet Home High School equestrian team placed second in drill at their second meet this season, held at the Oregon State Fairgrounds March 29 to April 1.
In barrels, Jessalyn Seiber finished fifth of 60 riders. Cera Kem finished 32nd, and Tracy Smith finished 38th.
In flags, Smith finished 17th out of 40; Larissa Bjornsen, 28th; and Seiber, no time.
In bi-wrangle, the A team, Seiber and Bjornsen, finished 12th of 60 teams. The B team, Smith and Kem, finished 15th.
In team flags, the Huskies finished 12th of 24. The team included Bjornsen, Kem, Smith and Seiber.
Kem placed 23rd of 56 in western equitation, and Bjornsen finished 26th.
In team penning, the Huskies finished 20th of 30.
Seiber finished sixth of 30 in steer daubing.
Bjornsen placed 17th of 65, and Kem placed 18th in showmanship.
Smith placed 18th of 24 in working rancher.
In figure eight, Seiber finished third of 40; Bjornsen, sixth; and Kem 27th.
