Sweet Home girls shot a 261 for fourth place during a golf tournament April 3 at Mallard Creek.
Molalla took the win with a 182 followed by Cascade at 212 and Sisters with a 243.
Amanda Boughner was low scorer for the Huskies with a 62. Natasha Kukla shot a 63, Jessica Burke a 67, Allison Lake a 69 and Kara Watkins a 72.
Tournament medalist was Leanne Ferlan of Molalla with a 44. Other lows were Sarah Kos of Cascade, 49, and Kelsi Patterson, Sisters, 54.
Coach Jason Gorham said all of the Huskies dropped their scores by at least two strokes from their first match.
“This shows we are improving. I expect to see a few of our girls break into the mid ’50s in the next couple weeks,” Coach Gorham said.
