Winners of the Sweet Home golf program’s team awards included, from left, Henry Gainer, Victoria Victor, Trent Harvey, Kylie Melkvik and Isabella Wagner. Most Valuable Golfers were Harvey for the boys and Victor for the girls. Coaches Award honorees were Melkvik and RJ Abbott, who was unavailable for the photo. Wagner and Gainer, both new to high school golf, were Most Improved. Neither the boys nor girls qualified for the state championships this year, but the boys did well in the classroom, finishing No. 1 out of 21 teams in OSAA 4A Division Academic All-State competition with a cumulative team GPA of 3.74, ahead of Marist (3.71).
