Sweet Home girls shot a 529 April 19 during the Capital Conference preview match held at the Golf Club of Oregon.
Allison Lake led the Huskies with a 120. Natasha Kukla shot a 123, Amanda Boughner a 137, Kara Watkins a 149 and Megan Foucht a 168 on the day.
Molalla won the tournament with a 388 followed by Stayton, 442; Central, 443; Cascade, 446; Sisters, 490; Sweet Home, 529; North Marion, 659 and Kennedy, incomplete.
Low scorers for the day included Andy Wavra, Kennedy, 85; Kirsten Knowles, Central, 89; Esther Guiseinger, Molalla, 93; Darcy Yee, Stayton, 102; Kelsie Gutke, Cascade, 102; Amber Randall, Sisters, 112 and Julia Morales, North Marion, 122.
“I am happy with the way the girls are improving,” said Coach Jason Gorham. “Allison and Natasha both shot season low scores for nine holes, which was good to see on the district course.”
Calendar: The Husky girls host their lost two home matches of the year Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday (April 24) the varsity competes at Mallard Creek at 1 p.m. and Wednesday they host Toledo at Pineway at 3 p.m.
