What a smiley face the state puts on closing Hwy. 20 (Oct. 15). Nowhere did they acknowledge that Hwy. 20 is a “coast to coast” federal highway. They can say it’s just a winter inconvenenience but the reduced standard will affect the overall maintenance standard and have a negative impact on Sweet Home.
It’s more of the same for my home town. They shut down all logging, closed your mills; now they can’t even…
