Tyler further shared personal insights, saying, “My daughter Chloe participated in the academy as well as Battalion Chief Eli Harris’ daughter, Madison. They both loved the experience of participating in hands-on firefighter activities. It not only showed them what Dad does but also gave them the confidence that they could do anything they put their minds to.”

Tyler emphasized girls from Sweet Home are encouraged to apply, stating, “I would highly encourage all girls that fit the age requirements to take part in this event, regardless of what they are looking at for a future career.”

He added, “It not only provides an inside look into what firefighters do but also instills the self-confidence to be successful in any endeavor. As a girl dad and as a fire chief, I cannot speak highly enough of this program.”
