Ina Dunaway

Ina Dunaway, 77, of Sweet Home died Nov. 4, 2011 at Oregon Health Sciences University Hospital.

She was born Jan. 9, 1934 in Eugene to Walter and Martha (Archerd) Westbrook.

She was a homemaker for the better part of her life. She also worked at White’s Electronics in Sweet Home.

Mrs. Dunaway was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Clark of Drain, Juanita Finnell of Terrebonne, Audrey Beaver and Joy Kleiven of Sweet Home, Vicki Sorenson of Lyons, Martha Sylvester of Bend and Tracy Johnson of Lebanon; sons Ron Jr. and David of Sweet Home, Francis of Dallas, Gary of Lebanon, Don of Salem; 32 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; a sister, Wilma Denue; brothers Floyd, Harold “Punk” and Wayne Westbrook; best friend Sue Lawerance Blogett; and her five lunch buddies.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wayne Sr.; and grandson Matthew Rowe.

Viewing will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. A funeral service is planned at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Sweet Home Christian Church.

Memorial contributions can be made in Mrs. Dunaway’s name to Sweet Home Christian Church in Sweet Home.

Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
