The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has 1,310 refund checks worth $1,443,545 for Oregon taxpayers that were returned by the U.S. Postal Service due to mailing address errors.
The list of those who did not get their checks includes 24 individuals in Linn County, including five in the the Sweet Home area: Wendy S. Housen, Eliza Julius and Wendie S. Thayer of Sweet Home; and Terry M. Cutsforth and Tanya M. Young of Foster, according to the IRS.
Taxpayers can update their addresses with the “Where’s My Refund?” tool on IRS.gov, where they can check the status of their refunds. Taxpayers can also access a telephone version of “Where’s My Refund?” by calling 1-800-829-1954.
