“Savor the Flavor” is the theme for the 2003 SHHS Homecoming.
“So, enjoy the food, all the changes at SHHS and have a blast,” SHHS activities director Steve Hummer said.
Schedule of events for the rest of the week include:
Wednesday: Canned food drive, dress up day “Ranch Dressing” (students wear western clothes or accessories. Noon event: relay race.
Thursday: canned food drive. Dress up day: “Thousand Island” pirate wear or Hawaiian. Volleyball game vs. North Marion. Bonfire and serpentine at 9 p.m.
Friday: canned food drive, last day, all food in by 8:30 a.m. Homecoming assembly. Dress up day: Rowdy 40. Football game vs. Central at 7 p.m. Dance 9-11 p.m.
A special feature of this year’s Homecoming will be a tailgate party from 5-8 p.m. at Husky field. Local restaurants will have booths serving a variety of foods.
