The 2002 Oregon Jamboree netted an estimated profit of about $94,000.
Event Manager Peter LaPonte released the information at the Sweet Home Economic Development Group Board of Directors meeting on Sept. 12.
The Jamboree had nearly $400,000 in cash on its balance sheet as of Sept. 12, LaPonte said. “It makes me feel good to see this because this is the strongest financial position we’ve been in.”
