James E. Cook, Sr., 89, of Sweet Home died of natural causes on May 30. 2015.
The youngest child of Angie Lyells and Arthur Vernon Cook, Sr., he was born and raised in Nyssa.
A popular and athletic student, he lettered in several sports at Nyssa High School, including football, basketball and boxing.
