James Edward Gibbs, 69, of Sweet Home died Feb. 19, 2013 at his home.
He was born Sept. 9, 1943 in Salem, Mo., to Woodrow and Flossie Gibbs.
Mr. Gibbs was employed by Santiam Plywood, later known as Willamette Industries, until his retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors and taking daily walks that most would consider a marathon.
