James Bradley “Jim-Bob” Kragness, 69, of Sweet Home, died Nov. 14, 2022, at Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield.
He was born July 19, 1953, in Langmack Hospital in Sweet Home to Bradley Omer and Naomi Elaine Muenchow Kragness, one of five siblings.
Mr. Kragness graduated from Sweet Home High School. In his early 20s he went to work for a mill, staying there for 30-plus years.
He loved to camp, fish, read books and go to church, as well as be around family and friends, including playing “made-up games” with his granddaughter. He was extremely generous; he would help anyone he could.
Mr. Kragness is survived by his daughters, Kayla and Love, and son-in-law Jared; a sister, Diane; brothers Jeff and Tim; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his mother Naomi Kragness; father Bradley Kragness; and brother Dave.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Family and friends will be notified.
