James L. “Jimmy” “Uncle Mo Mo” Pace – age 79, of Lenoir City, Tenn., formerly of Sweet Home, passed away May 25, 2025.

He was a proud veteran of the U. S. Army. Jimmy enjoyed many hobbies, which included weather forecasting and motocross racing, and he was a talented musician. He enjoyed driving his Corvette and his motorcycles.

Jimmy was his family’s “go-to” technology person.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lush A. Pace and Tina M. Johnson Pace; brothers Alton, Billy, Hayden, Mark, Tommy, Richard and Jeffrey; and one infant sister.

He is survived by his sisters, Diane Pace Bell and Benda Pace Helton; brothers Donald Pace (Sandra) of Lenoir City, Tenn., and Reginald Pace (Dena) and Jerry Pace of Sweet Home, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews who loved their “Uncle Mo Mo” along with other beloved family members and good friends.

Family and friends gathered Sunday, June 1, at Lakeview Cemetery in Lenoir City for graveside services.  Military honors will be conferred by the Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard.
