Janet Klinkebiel, 80, of Brownsville died May 11, 2009.
She was born Aug. 8, 1928 in Cornelius to William and Ann Doretta (Smuthers) Christensen. She was raised in Lents District in Portland.
She married her husband, Fritz, on Aug. 11, 1946 in Canby. They were married for nearly 64 years.
Mrs. Klinkebiel is survived by her husband, Fritz Klinkebiel of Brownsville; sons Fred J. and daughter-in-law Della Klinkebiel of Brownsville, and Alan and daughter-in-law Gloria Klinkebiel of Brownsville; daughter Doretta and son-in-law Dave Kennedy of Sun City, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mandy Klinkebiel, in 1997.
Donations can be made in her name to EMT of Brownsville.
Per her request, there will be no services.
