Jeffrey Boyd Stafford

Aug. 3, 1955 – Sept. 14, 2021

Jeffrey Boyd Stafford, 66, of Sweet Home passed away Sept. 14, 2021.

He was born Aug. 3, 1955, in Sweet Home to Virgil Jackson and Emogene Alma Meta (Koehring) Stafford.

He lived in Sweet Home his whole life except for a short time in Crawfordsville.

Jeffrey worked for Robert Pickett, Tack Logging, and 4M Fiber. From 1996 to 2012 he worked for Melcher Logging. From 2018 until 2021 he drove log truck for his son Joe at Stafford Trucking.

He loved hunting, fishing and camping with his children and grandchildren.

His sons, son-in-law, grandsons and one granddaughter are presently on the hunting trip he participated in every year. I hope Jeff and his grandson, Kolby Keenon, are hunting together right now and his sons and grandkids feel their spirit with them.

His grandkids called him Grandpa, Grumpa (grumpy old man) and Grandpappy!

Jeffrey enjoyed camping and spending time with his brothers and sisters. He loved family and he had a great big family! He touched so many people’s lives, they loved listening to his stories, and sincerely enjoyed being with him.

Jeffrey is survived by his sons: Jason Stafford and his children, grandchildren Kara Baker, Callie Baker, Kristan Stafford and Jillian Stafford; son Joseph and his wife, Tricia Stafford, and their children, grandchildren Devin Stafford, Lily Stafford and Gunnar Stafford; daughter Angila and her husband, Kelly Keenon, and their daughter, granddaughter Saige Keenon; siblings Phillip Stafford, Linda Moore, Steve Stafford, all of Sweet Home, Lona Kutcher of Wickenberg, Ariz., Kellie Vavrosky of Wilsonville, Lisa Shamek of Bend, Stephanie Stafford of Aumsville, and Stacy Stafford of Sweet Home.

He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Kolby Keenon in 2021, and Daisy Stafford in 2008; siblings Briona Stafford in 2021, Terry Stafford in 2018, and Brian Stafford in 1987; and parents Virgil Stafford in 2010 and Emogene Stafford in 1994.

Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
