Jennifer Hawks, 39, of Sweet Home died May 8, 2015.
She was born Sept. 15, 1975 in Salem to Bob Pahl and Dana (Bradley) Pahl-Nations.
She married Kelly Culbertson March 16, 2013 in Albany.
Mrs. Hawks was a very devoted Christian. She loved the Lord. She loved the music of “Third Day.” She also loved animals; her passion was kitty cats. Her favorite animal companion was Keely.
She is survived by her husband, Kelly Culbertson of Sweet Home; children, Jordan and Madison Hawks of Anchorage, Alaska, and Sierra, Savanna and Austin, all of eastern Oregon; parents Dana Pahl-Nations and Robert Pahl of Salem; grandparents Arthur and Barbara Bradley of Otter Rock, and Warren Paul of Salem; and uncles Bruce Beaman, Mark Bradley, Scott Bradley, William Pahl, Bradley Pahl and Brian Pahl.
Mrs. Hawks was preceded in death by her sister, Marci Pahl; and her paternal grandmother Fran Pahl.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at the Kroc Center, 1865 Bill Frey Drive N.E., in Salem.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mrs. Hawks’ name to the Salem Friends of Felines.
