Jeromy Reed Moore, 41, of Sweet Home, died Sept. 8. 2021.
He was born June 18, 1980 in Lebanon to Frank Reed and Tonya Verlee (Thill) Moore.
Mr. Moore grew up mostly in Sweet Home but lived in Alaska for a bit while his father logged. His family moved back to Sweet Home when he was a teenager and he’s been here since.
Mr. Moore was a God-fearing man who loved to read from his Bible every day that he could. While he bounced around from church to church throughout his life, the last he attended was River of Life on Long Street in Sweet Home.
He loved fishing, hunting, catching up with old friends and hanging out with family. He was a kind man, someone who would do anything for those he loved. He was the first to call on someone’s birthday, and he always made sure people knew he was thinking of them.
He loved playing cribbage, and dabbled in some music. He had an acoustic guitar he loved to play.
Mr. Moore is survived by his three children, Teira Jean Redick of Lebanon, Jace Alex Reed Moore of Crescent, and Tonja Leigh Johanna Moore of River Rogue, Mich.; sister Anglena Kelly of Roseburg; brother Shawn Davis of Sweet Home; step-mom Linda Moore of Sweet Home; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his niece, Tayler Holley; grandfather John Moore; grandmother LeRetta (Jean) Moore; father Frank Moore; mother Tonya Hutson (Thill); and his uncle Ron Moore.
A Celebration of Life will be held in early October.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
