Jerry Lee Clark, 88, of Sweet Home, died March 24, 2023, from heart related complications in Salem. He was born Oct. 16, 1934, in Plainview, Texas, to Buster Brown and Nina Mae (McIntyre) Clark.
Mr. Clark was a patriotic Navy veteran. He retired, after a 30-year career in cement masonry, to the house he designed and built in Sutter Creek, Calif., before moving to Sweet Home.
Mr. Clark was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, building and traveling. He was a kind and loving patriarch to many. He lived a full and purposeful life, offering gentle advice and insight to everyone. One never felt unimportant in his presence. He was an amazing husband, dad and papa, who will always be missed and remembered by his family.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Shirley Edith Clark, the love of his life for 67 years; two children, Dwayne Neal Clark and Lori Elise Clark Martin; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
