Jerry Kruesi

June 22, 1929 – April 14, 2011

Jerry Ray “Chaddy” Kruesi, 81, of Brownsville died April 14, 2011. He was born June 22, 1929 in Monticello, Wis. to Herman and Lena (Rothlisburger) Kruesi. He was known to most as “Chaddy.

Mr. Kruesi worked as a machinist in California until 1966 when he moved his family to Brownsville. He then worked in the woods as a logger before going to work at Champion International. He worked for them until it closed its operation in Lebanon and he retired. He enjoyed raising cattle and farming during his retirement years.

Mr. Kruesi is survived by his children, Joann Daniels and son-in-law John, Steve Kruesi and daughter-in-law Becky, Carolyn Raschein and son-in-law Randy, and Jerry Kruesi and daughter-in-law Amy; oldest sister Meta Bidwell; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Kruesi was preceded in death by his wife Nila M. (Clark) Kruesi and grandson Chad M. Daniels.

A graveside service is planned for 2 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Lewis Cemetery in Foster.

Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
