Joe Scott Parkins, 47, of Sweet Home, passed away Feb. 3, 2026.
He was born March 2, 1978, to Shirley A. Parrish and Joseph Patrick Parkins in Renton, Wash.
He lived in Tacoma, Des Moines and Raymond, Wash., before moving to Sweet Home. Joe worked as a landscaper and enjoyed doing art.
He is survived by his daughter Lily; his mother, Shirley Parrish of Tacoma, Wash.; and siblings Jessica Mercer of Marysville, Wash., and William Parkins of Puyallup, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Patrick Parkins; and sister Autumn Marie Mercer (2024).
