John Francis Neely
November 2, 1943 – October 27, 2024
John Francis Neely has departed us and gone on to the other side. John, who stood above the crowd was a spiritual, articulate, philosophical, kind and wise trusted mentor. He was a dear and loving friend to many. Thoughtful, caring and respected.
John lived and worked in Sweet Home for many decades. He retired from Sweet Home School District. John volunteered in our community in many ways. His wisdom/knowledge of agriculture stands out.
John leaves behind his niece Melissa Neely of Montgomery, Alabama; who he raised from a youth to become a beautiful established business woman with the same characteristics as “ Uncle John”.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
