John Richard Peterson, 79, of Sweet Home, died Dec. 9, 2021, in Lebanon.
He was born June 28, 1942, in Myrtle Point to Edwin and Clara (Quilhaugh) Peterson.
He grew up in Powers and had lived in Sweet Home for 50 years. He worked as a cutter for Peterson Timber for 50 years.
Mr. Peterson also cut and sold firewood. He loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
