Johnsons mark 67th anniversary

Jim and June Johnson, long-time residents of Cascadia celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on March 31.

A dinner party, given in their honor by their children, was held at the Michael’s Landing restaurant in Corvallis. With the help of restaurant staff, and surrounded by family and friends, the couple enjoyed an evening of laughter, fun, and reminiscence, topped off by an anniversary cake decorated in springtime flowers and bearing 67 lighted candles.

Among those attending the anniversary celebration were the couple’s children, daughter Carole Outhouse of San Diego, Calif., daughter and son-in-law Gail and Gary Platt of Tacoma, Wash., and son and daughter-in-law Rusty and Sharon Johnson of Redmond; grandchildren, Diana and Kelly Almquist of Puyallup, Wash., Jeff Platt of Puyallup, and Katie Knobel of Redmond; and great-grandchildren, Lauren and David Platt of Puyallup, and Keely, Bryna, and Brook O’Keefe of Redmond.

Other guests included Shain and Darlene Thompson of Sweet Home and John and Violet Campbell of Prineville.
