Joslynn Sloan-Stalheim, Andrew Slaght marry

Joslynn Renee Sloan-Stalheim and Andrew Wylie Slaght were married on Oct. 13 at Lebanon Evangelical Church.

The ceremony was conducted by Pastor Dan. The bride’s grandparents attend the church regularly.

Sloan-Stalheim is the daughter of Donald and Ginger Stalheim of Sweet Home. Slaght is the son of Gene Slaght of Washington and Rhonda McElroy of Eugene. Both attended Sweet Home High School.

Maid of honor was the bride’s best friend, Cherie Presley. Bridesmaids were friends Jen Lovik, Ashley Byrns and Makenzie Walker. Best man was the groom’s best friend, Cody Sanders. Groomsmen included Justin Pearson, Sam Crain and Aaron Lovik.

Ring bearer was the bride’s brother Nathan Stalheim. The bride’s brother Matt Stalheim was the usher.

Jen and Aaron Lovik came all the way from Germany on leave from the military to attend.

Donald and Ginger Stalheim gave the bride away.

The bride wore a simple, elegant floor-length white gown with two layers of fabric. She carried a white bouquet of red roses and babies’ breath.

Bridesmaids wore mid-length café dresses and carried bouquets of roses and babies’ breath.

Decorations were done by Spencer Tenbusch, Tony Tenbusch, Ginger Stalheim and the Tenbusch family.

A reception was given by Tony Tenbusch in the church annex. Dinner was chicken cordon bleu with rosemary potatoes and snow peas.

The bride has lived in Sweet Home all her life. The groom has lived in Sweet Home for approximately eight years.
