Joyce Anna Martin, 78, of Sweet Home died, Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at Bridgcreek Memory Care Facility in Lebanon.
She was born April 27, 1930 in Long Beach, Calif., the daughter of Dennis and Beulah (Boyd) Gray.
She was raised in Redondo Beach, Calif., and graduated from Redondo High School.
She married Ralph Martin on Sept. 11, 1948 in Long Beach, Calif., and they just recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
They resided in Southern California and later Northern California before retiring to Sweet Home in 1995.
She is survived by her husband Ralph; children John Martin, Lari Ashley and Richard “Dick” Martin; brothers, Carl, Arthur and Howard Gray; sister, Drew “Tissie” Holloran; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held.
