Sweet Home Junior High’s wrestlers placed second behind Lebanon at the nine-team Tri County District Wrestling Championships on Saturday, Jan. 14.
Winners for the Tigers were Mitchell Grove, Taylor Tagle, Brock Crocker and Matthew Grove.
Second-place finishers were Brad Pitts, Anthoney Albright, Christian Whitfield, Brehk Beitenheimer and Tyler Holly.
Third-place finishers were David Walters, Jason Whitlow, Jacob Jewell, and Kyle Hummer.
Other competitors were Cody Daniels, Ethan Rowe, JP Williams, Trevor Pitts, Tyler Paulino, Alix Veitenheimer, James Meyers, Matthew Pitts, Kyle Hanscam, Gabe Morgan, Tyler Collins, Kris Newport, Jason Driver, Brandon Gregory and Nick Nivison.
Other teams in the competition were Stayton, Santiam Christian, Duniway, Seven Oaks, Talmage, North Marion and Mark Twain.
