Juanita Mae Pike, 72, of Sweet Home died Aug. 5, 2013.
She was born April 30, 1941 in Bend to Charles Henry and Minnie Louise (Hannaman) Whitman.
She lived in Bend until moving to Beaver in 2004, then to Sweet Home in 2007.
Mrs. Pike worked as a motel maid and did mill cleanup, as well as being a housewife. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and painting.
She is survived by her husband, Mel Pike of Sweet Home; daughters, Robin Huntley and Roxanne Chastain, both of Bend; son Rodrick Foster of Bend; several step-children and step-grandchildren; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Pike was preceded in death by her second husband, Everett Geddes, in 1995.
A memorial service was held Aug. 9 at the Elk’s Lodge in Sweet Home.
