Judith Kay Cockrell, 63, of Sweet Home died June 3, 2008.
She was born April 5, 1945 in Ada, Minn., to Arthur and Marie Jeanette (Opgrand) Hogetvedt.
She had lived in California and Arizona and then finally made her home in Oregon in 1972.
Judith and her husband managed a Stuckey’s Pecan Shop for many years and then worked and retired from Central Linn School District as a custodian.
Mrs. Cockrell loved to fish, camp, and travel. She was a very good cook and everyone will miss her cooking.
Judith is survived by her two daughters: Brenda and husband Bill McNabb of Sweet Home; Noralynn and husband Kevin Williams of Sweet Home; two sons, William Cockrell Jr. of Texas, Alan Cockrell and wife Wendy of Harrisburg; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Cockrell on Oct. 29, 2004 and her parents.
A viewing will be at 4-7 p.m. Thursday with a memorial service at 5 p.m. at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
