June Johnson

June C. Johnson, 61, formerly of Lebanon, died Aug. 11, 2026 in Germany.
She was born Feb. 20, 1965, the daughter of Dr. Howard and Marilynn Johnson, and grew up in Lebanon, attending Hamilton Creek Elementary and graduating from Lebanon High School in 1984.
She graduated in 1988 with a nursing degree from Pacific Lutheran University and from Emory University with a specialty in wound and ostomy care.
June was recently inducted into the LHS Hall of Fame for her service as a medical missionary in Ukraine, where she served for 28 years through Christian Missionary Fellowship International.
She was caring for Ukrainian refugees in Germany when she was diagnosed with aggressive, terminal cancer. She died among friends in Germany.
June is survived by her mother, Marilyn; brother Matthew; sister Jennifer Gard, and their families.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Howard Johnson.
